There are some interesting parallels between the Chinese housing market and our own as seen in this video from Reuters International News:
Over two years ago drywall imported from China had been found to be tainted with an unknown toxin. While most of this bad drywall was used in the Southeast, there is evidence that the drywall was used in some new homes in Arizona from 2001-2008. Last week PBS aired a segment on the newest concerns surfacing from this issue. If you suspect a home has tainted drywall please contact the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
